As part of Women's Day 2023, we teamed up with a leading NGO, Chudar, to visit a local High School in Tamil Nadu, India to interact with the girl students and open their eyes to multiple career options that they were unaware of and give them the confidence to brave any situation they find themselves in.

Through our interactions, we were able to inform the girls about the various career options that are available to them especially in fields that are traditionally male dominated. We highlighted the importance of pursuing their interest and passions, and encouraged them to break down gender barriers and challenge societal norms. The girls were unaware of career opportunities after school due to lack of support for females to work in their community.
Maanasa Sachidanand, the founder of Women Adore Tech, shared her personal journey to become an electronics engineer in France, it was heartwarming to see the excitement and curiosity in the eyes of these young girls as they listened intently to her stories and experiences, We could see a sense of hope and inspiration in their faces.

We presented a Bluetooth-controlled robot that Maanasa had made specifically for this event, and the girls were excited to operate it themselves. For many of these girls, who come from humble backgrounds and have little or no access to technology, this was the first time they had seen something like this. We believe that technology experiments like this are an effective way to increase girls' curiosity about different fields and passions.
